Sales Support Administrator
The Sales Support Administrator will support the day-to-day administrative functions in support of the director of sales and marketing and sales team in many different areas, including IT, telecommunications, finance and customer support. The Sales Support Administrator may undertake administration and other office-based duties for the director of sales and marketing and sales team. The support offered may include processing event orders, generating sales reports, answering phones and scheduling appointments for the sales teams.

The Sales Support Administration role is to coordinate all administrative support work within the sales team. Key activities include:

  • handling all correspondence and organizing contact between the sales managers and their customers;
  • maintaining customer records and databases;
  • securing events and prospecting for new business  clients and or leads;
  • taking, progressing and monitoring orders;
  • preparing estimates and quotations for customers;
  • editing and revising letters in RESERVE; 
  • keeping records of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for management;
  • developing correspondence for the director of sales and marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • superior verbal and written communication skills;
  • ability to support multiple people and varied personalities;
  • excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills;
  • strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite);
  • well organized, methodical and flexible work approach;
  • ability to work in a fast paced and often pressured environment.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business, hospitality management and or executive administration is preferred.
